Pinot Noir

Russian River Valley

Deep violet in color, this lush pinot noir carries expressive aromas of wild berries, rose petals and cola. The palate, silky and balanced, explodes with dark raspberry, plum, clove and cocoa. Ripe currant and blackberry harmonize over a long, toasty finish supported by round tannins.

91 points Wine Advocate

“Offers plenty of bright, rich, cherry fruit, a luscious, medium-bodied mouthfeel, and impressive purity, texture and length. This 2011 is already performing well and should continue to do so for 5-6 years”
Robert Parker Jr.

91 Points International Wine Cellar

“Bright ruby-red. Ripe raspberry and cherry on the spice-accented nose. Lush, creamy and sweet, offering pliant red berry liqueur flavors and a refreshingly bitter touch of blood orange. Shows very good depth as well as energy, with strong finishing cut and a lingering floral note. ”

Harvest Date September 22 – October 19

Growing Season 2011 began with a wet winter and spring across Sonoma and Napa Counties. Summer was warm, and as harvest approached temperatures rose. Our pinot noir ripened fully and evenly, allowing sugars and acid to develop in balance. The wines from 2011 are bright, expressive and faceted.
