Pinot Noir

Ulises Valdez Vineyard
Russian River Valley

This masculine pinot noir displays a brilliant aubergine color and enticing aromas of black cherry, violets, clove and gingerbread. The flavors are layered, savory and succulent, and include brandied black cherries, pie crust, loamy soils, and coastal forest floor. The finish is long, generous and balanced.

94 Points Wine Advocate

“Boasts a nearly opaque ruby/purple color along with a big, sweet bouquet of black currants, black cherries, charcoal, licorice and background oak. This big, juicy, succulent Pinot Noir pulls back before going over the edge. ”
Robert Parker Jr.

Harvest Date September 29

Growing Season 2012 has been described by many as “textbook perfect,” with both yields and quality being well above average. The growing season was long and mild, leading to even ripening, and harvest was completed before the first storm of the season arrived in late October. The wines from 2012 are expressive, balanced and delicious!
