Deliciously rich and fruity, with layers of pear, fig, apricot and honeysuckle, turning smooth and creamy, with a long, intricate aftertaste enlivened by vibrant acidity that keeps pumping out the flavors.

Vol. 28

Score: 87 (100 possible)
Medium-light golden yellow; attractive, forward, buttery, ripe tropical fruit aroma with a hint of butterscotch; full body; big, plush, toasty, tropical, ripe pear and pineapple flavors; slightly harsh and hard on the finish; lingering aftertaste. Needs another year of bottle aging to help resolve the fruit and oak. Highly recommended.
