Bright red. Fresh cherry, redcurrant, iron and raw meat aromas, with a dusting of dried flowers. Zesty red berry and cherry pit flavors display impressive energy and cut; there's a spicy tone to the bright, long finish. I'd sit on this for a few years.

Ripe plum and wild berry fruit is plush and opulent, with aromas of dark berry fruit that are supple and elegant on the palate, ending with smooth tannins. The best of four bottles tasted. Drink now through 2012.
