Although the color suggests ample evolution, the aromatics and flavors prove otherwise. Boldy-styled with abundant amounts of roasted nut, poached pear, oily tropical fruit, wood, and acidity, this dense, fresh, lively, intense 2005 can be enjoyed over the next 4-6 years.

Yellow-gold. Sexy, open-knit aromas of guava, yellow plum and tarragon.  Lush and rich, with good depth and sweetness to its tropical and orchard fruit flavors and a gentle acid lift.  The finish offers a hint of nectarine and building minerality, and closes on a brisk citrus note.  Give this a year or so of bottle age.

The fresh floral, citrus, green pear and green apple notes are sleek and refreshing, enlivened by snappy acidity and ending with a long, clean, fruity aftertaste. Drink now through 2011.
