The gorgeous 2003 Chardonnay Russian River spent 10 months in 55% new French oak and 45% neutral wood. Its light green/gold color is followed by scents of orange blossoms, marmalade, pineapples, and honeysuckle. This full-bodied, attractive Chardonnay is a treat to drink.

Good pale color. Aromas of citrus fruit, nuts, minerals and hay. Sweet, supple and soft, with citrus flavors lifted by a floral nuance. Not especially nuanced but offers attractive fruit character.

2003 Chardonnays from Adastra and Beaulieu are outstanding in Carneros, while those from Dry Creek Vineyard, Dutton-Goldfield, Hayman & Hill, Paul Hobbs, and Simi are some of the Russian River?s best values...
Full bodied and ripely flavored, this is a complex, moderately rich Chardonnay, with excellent balance and length. It tastes of citrus fruit, peach, toast, and roasted nut. 2,588 cases.
