Medium-light golden yellow; very attractive, intense, oily, ripe Chardonnay fruit aroma with note of vanilla and hazelnut; full body; rich, intense, concentrated, lemony, buttery, ripe fruit flavors with a full, rounded mouth feel; well balanced and structured; lingering aftertaste. Very highly recommended.

More opulent with even greater intensity is the 2002 Chardonnay Richard Dinner Vineyard. This oily, unctuously-textured, full-throttle effort reveals fine underlying acidity along with big, sweet aromas of peaches, citrus oils, and smoky oak. Drink this hefty, rich Chardonnay over the next 2-4 years.

A tight, rich beam of spicy fig, nectarine, tangerine and lemon meringue soothe the palate, with a mouth coating texture and dense, complex aftertaste. Drink now
