For whatever reason, the 2002 Pinot Noir Hyde Vineyard did not reveal as much character, flesh, or persistence. Nevertheless, it is a very good effort with a character similar to the 2001, but with the volume turned down.

Openly fruity, with ripe, fleshy plumb, red cherry and wild berry nuances that are elegant and supple in texture, with hardly any tannis to show. Finishes with a touch of nutmeg and hazelnut. Drink now
