1995
Paul Hobbs Cabernet Sauvignon, Liparita Howell Mountain
Winemaker's Notes
Dark garnet color, ripe blackberry, licorice, black olive, forest floor and dark semisweet chocolate aromas; velvety full mouth-feel, brambly fruit notes, currant liqueur; concentrated and structured, medium-fine grain tannins with a very long finish; this is classic mountain Cabernet. Special note: the vineyard was sold before the 1996 harvest making this our last vintage from this great vineyard. Alcohol 13.6%.
